HYBRID TURBO BMW M140I
WHERE IT BEGAN
Back in January 2021, we (Jason) purchased a new project car to eventually replace the MINI, a BMW M140i. The plan was to build a "Clubsport" spec 1 series that could be more than capable on the track as well as on the road. Over the upcoming months, the car was pulled to pieces and built from the ground up using only the best products on the market. Working with brands such as Turbosystems and Bootmod3, the BMW was transformed into what it is now - a 500WHP track-ready 1 series...with Apple car play!
CURRENT SPEC
The 1 series is lucky enough to run BMW's icon 6 cylinder turbo B58 lump which gave us a great starting point to play with. After a Dorch stage 2 HPFP and a Turbosystems hybrid turbo (and a whole host of other goodies), the car sits at a comfortable 500WHP & 530WTQ.
